Vision Mission Purpose

Purpose Objectives

The following main Objectives have been defined for Ruwach Foundation:

i.                     Firstly, intercession is one of the most important aspects associated with any business like this.  The aim is to establish intercession groups wherever there is evangelistic activity.  It is important that this intercession is undertaken across denominational borders, so as to ensure that at the same time the unity in the Church is enhanced.

ii.                   Secondly, the primary purpose objective is the expansion of Christendom, firstly throughout Southern Africa, Africa, but also in the rest of the world in accordance with Acts 1:8 “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

iii.                  Thirdly, although it is acknowledged that there is diversity between different denominations, the whole body of Christ, that is the entire Christian community, needs to become united into one body.  The diversity between churches should be developed as a strength towards a stronger, synergistic evangelistic movement in the Church of Christ.

iv.                 Fourthly, spreading the love of Christ needs to be accompanied with love to the neighbor.  The objective is to assist tentmaker missionaries of many disciplines to start a meritorious business in a mission field.  In this way, employment opportunities will be created; community service could be enhanced whilst at the same time the table will be set for missions work.

Associated with this objective is training and preparation of missionaries.  This could include sponsorships or scholarships for deserving cases, even in a technical field.

Code of Conduct

The overall code of conduct by which Ruwach Foundation is to direct all its business activities in the way as found in Psalm 15:

      1Lord, who may abide in Thy tent?

      Who may dwell on Thy holy hill?

1.                   2He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness

2.                   and speaks truth in his heart.

3.                   3He does not slander with his tongue

4.                   nor does evil to his neighbor

5.                   nor takes up a reproach against his friend;

6.                   4in whose eyes a reprobate is despised,

7.                   but who honors those who fear the Lord;

8.                   he swears to his own hurt, and does not change

9.                   5he does not put out his money at interest

10.               nor does he take a bribe against the innocent

      He who does these things will never be shaken.
